A Times Online post when different men dress the same woman in what they want a girl to wear.

I know girls are always wondering what a guy wants them to wear. The article gives a great description of the different ways men and women think about fashion, style and image. But the slideshow of men dressing the same model seems a bit slanted to me. I’m pretty sure that if I asked my boyfriend to dress me, I’d end up in a low-cut, black t-shirt, a mini skirt and chuck tailors. Guys want girls to look comfortable and slutty at the same time.

But really, a girl is going to look best in what SHE feels comfortable in. It has to suit the body type, appropriate season (Colors are described here.) and the specific occasion. I usually won’t be found wearing black, because I look better in pastels. I don’t wear chucks just because I don’t like the way they look on me. But I do wear mini skirts; I gotta show off my cycling-toned legs.

The best way to get a guy’s attention (and this could work for guys getting girls’ attention) is to wear something you usually get complimented in. This is usually something you love to wear because you feel comfortable in it. Don’t try to fit yourself into some vision they have of you.
